Job Title: Program Manager, Peer Support & Education

Starting Salary: $63,000
Location: Eagle County
Reports to: Executive Director
Status: Full-Time, Exempt

Position Summary

The Program Manager, Peer Support & Education, plays a key leadership role in advancing RECONNECTED’s mission to provide accessible, empowering peer support and recovery education in rural communities. This person holds a dynamic position that blends direct support, program development, community outreach, and team coordination. They will work closely with the Executive Director and the broader peer support team to ensure that our recovery and education programs run smoothly, remain person-centered, and continue evolving to meet community needs.

Core Responsibilities

  • Facilitate weekly All Recovery meetings and ensure consistent, welcoming presence.
  • Maintain a caseload of 15–30 individuals at various stages of their recovery journey.
  • Coordinate and curate RECONNECTED events, including assigning ambassadors and leading logistics.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Director on referral assignment and partnership development.
  • Support outreach efforts in collaboration with the Marketing & Outreach Coordinator.
  • Manage the RecoveryLink Electronic Recovery Record (ERR) system, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
  • Conduct evaluations for the Peer Support and Advocacy Program and contribute to data analysis.
  • Assist in grant writing and quarterly/impact reports.
  • Co-create and facilitate Recovery Ally Trainings and curriculum.
  • Manage the Ambassador Program and participate in the annual Rural Peer Conference.
  • Train new peer staff and support onboarding processes.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of SOPs, welcome packets, and employee handbooks.
  • Respond to emails through the general RECONNECTED inbox as needed.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Google Workspace and digital collaboration tools.

     

Qualifications

  • Lived experience with recovery (substance use, mental health, or related pathways).
  • Prior experience in peer support, community organizing, or program coordination.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Experience in documentation and electronic record-keeping systems.
  • Ability to collaborate across departments and communicate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience in training, facilitation, and public speaking is a plus.
  • Passion for recovery justice, rural advocacy, and trauma-informed approaches.
