Hi, I'm Leo.

Hi, I’m Leo Flynn, and I joined the amazing RECONNECTED team as the Program Manager in June 2025. I’m here because I believe real change starts with connection—especially before things hit a breaking point. I know what it’s like to want something different but not know where to begin, and I’m passionate about helping others find the people and resources that can make a difference.

I grew up in Lowell, Massachusetts, the oldest of four boys. My family spent winters skiing in New Hampshire, and after undergrad at Providence College, I chased a powder day out to Vail—and never looked back.

Life threw me some heavy losses early on—my dad passed suddenly, and I lost a brother to leukemia. By 15, alcohol became my way of coping. It felt fun until it wasn’t. On April 1st, 2004, I hit a turning point. I didn’t know how to stop, but I was scared to keep going. With help from treatment, 12-step programs, and a strong recovery community here in Eagle County, I found a new way to live—and have been sober ever since.

For the past five years, I’ve worked in management roles at treatment centers focused on substance use and mental health. I recently started an MSW program through ASU Online, and I’m excited to keep learning and growing. It means everything to me to use my story to support others on their journey.

None of us have all the answers, but there are so many resources available right here. Often, it’s family, friends, coworkers, or neighbors who recognize something’s wrong before the individual does. I’m grateful to be in a role where I can help link people—people like me, who know they need a change but don’t know where to start—with the support and solutions they deserve. If we can make those connections before a major crisis, the whole community benefits.
