Recovery Peer Support and Advocacy: The RECONNECTED Recovery Peer Support and Advocacy Program will serve individuals with alcoholism/SUD in Eagle County who are interested in or seeking recovery. The goal of this program is to provide timely peer-based follow ups, support and connections to programs, resources and treatment options to support individuals in their recovery journey. This program will connect participants to various local recovery resources available within the community, while holding them accountable and providing the recovery capital and social scaffolding needed to increase their chances at achieving and maintaining recovery
RECONNECTED social events are a place where we believe in the power of connection, recovery, and growth. Our social events are designed to create a supportive, courageous, and inclusive environment for individuals in or seeking recovery from addictions and mental health challenges, as well as their allies. We understand that the journey to healing can be challenging, which is why we provide Recovery Ally Training, a space where you can engage in fun and enriching activities while building a network of like-minded individuals.
Like with anything, recovery is not a linear process. People in recovery often experience peaks and valleys on their individual journeys. Oftentimes, it’s the limiting beliefs of the mind that prevent people from believing that “yes, you can.” Our Vail 2 Aspen event is the spark that lit Reconnected’s flame; through this endurance run from Vail to Aspen, people from all walks of recovery were challenged to utilize this run as a metaphor for their recovery pathway…
In May 2024, RECONNECTED Foundation won Vail Valley Partnership’s Small Nonprofit of the Year award. We are extremely grateful for our community partners, donors, members, and the greater Eagle County community for their continued support and grace. From our hearts, thank you!
